Carlos "Charlie" Rua, Lic. Real Estate Broker	Charlie Rua’s in-depth knowledge of the real estate business comes from growing up in a real estate-oriented family. At the age of 12, he was already learning the mechanics of development and construction from his father, Carlos; from his mother he learned all about real estate sales and marketing. Charlie began working at his family’s projects in 1992, cleaning and carrying out other light tasks while getting a feel for development from the inside. He also began showing and giving potential buyers tours of his parents sites as well. A graduate of Ransom Everglades School in Coconut Grove, he suspended his work at the family business for four years to earn a bachelor’s degree in business and advertising from the University of Florida (2002). While still in college, Charlie obtained a Florida real estate salesman’s license. Currently he is licensed as the broker of record for Rua Realty. Xavi Durana, Sales Associate	Xavier Durana has worked extensively, since 2000, in the real estate, development and construction industries. The parallel relationships between these three fields, has given Xavier an in-depth knowledge of the Greater Miami market and allowed him to view and analyze properties with a unique perspective. Mr. Durana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, as well as a minor in Business Administration. Xavier is a Florida Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate as well as a Certified Florida Licensed General Contractor. He was raised in Coral Gables and graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program at Coral Gables High School. Alina Durana, Sales Associate	Alina lives, works and has raised her family in the beautiful city of Coral Gables. She combines her time between offering her services as a paralegal at her husband’s law firm in real estate transactions and as a sales associate for Rua Realty, focusing her efforts in the Coral Gables and Miami residential markets. Currently she serves as a Vice-president for The Historic Preservation Association of Coral Gables. Mrs. Durana is fluent in English and Spanish. The combination of her professional experiences have given her an opportunity to serve a multicultural clientele. Jose Acuna, Sales Associate	Jose was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Miami at an early age. He is a former City of Miami police officer. He served the City for over 20 years and during that time he moved up the ranks to become a lieutenant. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and has over 10 years of experience in both commercial and residential real estate. Jose is an active Realtor in the South Florida market.
